For Christmas dinner we recommend the cod with cauliflower and olives. The seconddish is very rich in ingredients, because in addition to the cauliflower and olives, you can feel the strong and unfailing taste of tomatoes, combined with the sweetness of raisins and sultanas. For the recipe of this curious and delicious dish of fish will not take any effort, but I assure you that you can get a result from real chefs, satisfying theappetite of the most fond of the family!
Ingredients for cod with cauliflower and olives (serves 4)
* 500 grams of dried cod
* 250 grams of cauliflower
* 1 large onion
* 800 gr of peeled tomatoes
* 100 grams of green olives and black olives
* 100 grams of capers, raisins and pine nuts
* 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
* salt q.b.
* chilli q.b.
Preparation
Steam the dried cod, cut into pieces and the cauliflower in clumps, then fry the onion in oil.
Add salt, pepper, capers, raisins, pine nuts, olives and tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes at a very gentle flame.
When cooked fish and place the cauliflower on a serving platter and cover with thesauce made, then serve hot.
