Here is a nice recipe for pasta with shrimp and vodka, spiced up with a lovely pinksauce made from cream and tomato, a tasty dish but with an air of retro for years60/70. If you still want to give a tone to the whole Mediterranean and modern, omit thevodka at the end and instead add a little 'fresh chopped basil.
Ingredients for the shrimp fettuccine and vodka (serves 4)
* 400 g. of egg fettuccine possible, but also other types of good years both dry andfresh pasta
* 250 of the tails of shrimps
* 200 ml. heavy cream
* 200 ml. thick tomato sauce
* some sun dried tomatoes
* 1 small onion
* pepper caiena q.b.
* vodka q.b.
* extra virgin olive oil q.b.
* salt q.b.
Preparation
Let soak the finely chopped onion with a little 'olive oil.
Reduce the heat and add the tomato puree, the cream, dried tomatoes cut into strips,and 3 tablespoons of vodka. Pre-heat all without boiling.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water. Just before the pasta is cooked add theprawns.
Drain the pasta, keeping aside a little 'cooking water and season it with the sauceprepared above, combining the cooking water if it seems too dry.
Serve immediately, even with the use Nordic with a shot of vodka.
