Here's a simple cake with almonds and peaches, sweet flavor and genuine, verysimple to prepare, even for the less experienced cooks who can serve as Christmas to the children and those with a sweet tooth. Of course, the winter is not the best one tobe able to find fresh peaches, which is why we use peaches in syrup, in order to makethe recipe even more sweet and tasty.
Ingredients for the simple pie with almonds and peaches
* 225 g butter
* 200 gr sugar
* 50 ml milk
* 1 pinch of salt
* 6 eggs
* 80 grams of chopped almonds and sliced + 25 gr
* 50 grams of potato starch
* 250 grams of flour
* 1 packet of baking powder
* 3 + 4 peach halves in syrup peach halves to decorate
* 50 g apricot jam
Preparation
3 half the diced peaches, worked to cream butter with 150 grams of sugar, milk andegg yolks (save whites).
Combine the almonds, flour and starch, the egg whites until stiff hard, adding theremaining sugar and place on top of the dough.
Combine all for adding the yeast last sifted; incorporated peaches and pour the mixture into a mold can be opened in a circle with a diameter of 24 cm greased andfloured.
Arrange peach halves on the surface of the 4 slices and sliced almonds, cook for 55 minutes at 180 ° in the oven, sieved apricot jam, heat it in a pan and brush the surfaceof freshly baked cakes.
